The Conquer Series team recently attended the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Proclaim ’16 conference in Nashville, where they aimed to spread the message of freedom from the epidemic of pornography in the church. As Christian media holds a powerful position to make a difference, the team wanted to make themselves available to help broadcasters carry this vital message to men struggling with porn addiction.

Understanding the Battlefield of Pornography

The Conquer Series is a cinematic film series that uses parables and powerful teachings from former Marine Jet Fighter Pilot, Dr. Ted Roberts, to help men understand the deadly battlefield that pornography presents. It teaches men that trying harder to resist the temptation of porn doesn't work and that the battle takes place in the brain. Through the Conquer Series, men can learn the weapons they need to start their journey towards freedom.

Making an Impact at NRB Proclaim ’16

At the NRB Proclaim ’16 expo, the Conquer Series team put together an eye-catching exhibit that showcased the battlefield of pornography. The exhibit included an M151 Ford vehicle mounted with a 50 cal machine gun from the Vietnam War era. A sign that read, "The next generation is not watching Christian TV, they’re watching porn," caught the attention of many passersby, including South Korea's main Christian TV station, who approached the team for an interview.

During the interview, Conquer Series Director, Jeremy Wiles, stated that "This headline is not just to get people’s attention – it is based on real statistics." He pointed out that a Lifeway study showed that 67% of Americans do not watch Christian TV, while a Barna Group Study released this year showed that 76% of 18-24 year old Christians actively seek out porn.

Bringing Freedom to Millions of Men

Despite the shocking statistics, the Conquer Series team has already seen God do incredible things through their work. At Proclaim '16, they had a chance to speak with people face to face and hear about the pain that pornography has inflicted in their lives. They also heard from men who have taken the series to their church and have seen the difference it has made.

The Conquer Series has already brought this message to millions of men in over 100 countries, and they want to work with broadcasters to help even more men across the Kingdom hear this vital message. Whether you're a church looking to bring the Conquer Series to your congregation or a broadcaster looking to schedule an interview, the Conquer Series team is ready to help.
